About Us

About Us

The North Texas Area Alumnae Panhellenic (NTAAP) is a community-based organization whose membership is affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). NTAAP is composed of alumnae representing most of the 26 NPC member group sororities and fraternities.

Who We Are

NTAAP is a sorority alumnae organization made up of local women who are passionate about helping prepare and educate local girls with the process of Sorority Recruitment.  We help connect them to local alumnae as well as collegiate Greek members at the universities they plan to attend.  Our geographic footprint includes girls who live in or attend school (public or private) in Lewisville ISD, Plano ISD, Richardson ISD, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Irving ISD, parts of Denton ISD, and surrounding areas.

What We Do

Local girls register with us (free!) using this form. Upon registration, you will receive a spreadsheet with both the current preferred process for each sorority as well as a local contact that can serve as a resource for questions and help for her particular sorority.  In the event that you are unable to locate a local alumna to write a recommendation for a sorority, you are encouraged to reach out to the local contact for direction. Each registrant will also automatically be placed on a distribution list and receive periodic emails from NWDSAP about the latest info and any pending changes to the Recruitment process.

Our Goals

The North Texas Area Alumnae Panhellenic (NTAAP) is a community-based organization whose membership is affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). NTAAP is composed of alumnae representing most of the 26 NPC member group sororities and fraternities. Our goals are twofold:

1. To join together in fellowship to perpetuate our love of Greek life through social and philanthropic events

2.  To help young girls from this area have a fantastic Recruitment experience.  We offer assistance with all facets of Sorority Recruitment…from Sorority Education to assistance with packet creation, crafting of social resumes, and gathering of Recommendation letters and Letters of Support…our aim is for area girls to be prepared and proactive about their Sorority Recruitment. We help girls network within their communities to identify both active and alumnae sorority members.
